Gabriella L. Izzo (“Gabby”) is an associate in the firm’s Connecticut office and practices primarily in the healthcare and professional liability practice group. Specifically, she focuses her practice on defending medical professionals of all specialties and healthcare institutions in matters involving complex medical issues with high damage exposure. Gabby has a special interest in understanding the numerous medical concepts, procedures, and techniques utilized by medical professionals in their care and treatment of individuals in order to effectively represent their interests. She also represents healthcare providers in administrative hearings and investigations before the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
Gabby graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law where she pursued a health law concentration. During law school, she served as the Research and Symposium Editor for the Health Law Journal, President of the Health Law Society, and was a competition team member for the Mock Trial Society. Prior to law school, Gabby graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University where she was a participant in the 3+3 Bachelor’s/Juris Doctor accelerated dual-degree program.
