Maggie is an associate with the firm and her practice areas include complex civil and commercial litigation, financial services litigation, and transactional matters. Her practice is primarily in the area of financial services litigation, representing financial institutions and corporate entities in commercial and consumer litigation ranging from complex foreclosures to construction disputes. She also represents lenders, borrowers, sellers and purchasers in all aspects of real estate transactions. Maggie also represents insurers in complex coverage disputes involving allegations of extra contractual liability and unfair claim settlement practices.
Before joining the firm, Maggie practiced complex commercial litigation with experience in the Connecticut Superior Court and United States District Courts for the District of Connecticut and the Southern District of New York. She has extensive trial preparation experience, e.g. pretrial oral arguments and settlement discussions. Her experience also includes real estate transactions, from lease agreements to purchase agreements.
While in law school at Quinnipiac University School of Law, Maggie followed her passion for contracts and transactional work, taking all courses related to corporate law and contract law. She spent a year as a law clerk at the Subway Headquarters, learning the various aspects of regulatory law. Also during law school, Maggie served as a member of the Environmental Law Society which still encourages her awareness of her ecological footprint.
Outside the office, Maggie is an avid equestrian and enjoys any activity that takes her outdoors with her dogs. She and her pro-golfer husband live on a lake in Connecticut.
