Law360 Reports on Gfeller Laurie’s Continued Growth and Long-Term Expansion Plan
As covered by Law360 on October 29, 2021, Gfeller Laurie is growing its footprint in the Northeast with the addition of a Philadelphia office and four new attorneys. Opening a Philadelphia office is an opportunity to capitalize on existing client demands and broaden the 12-year-old firm’s geographic reach. The firm and its partners are toward the end of a five-year strategic plan to enhance its bench-strength and geographic reach while providing Am Law 100 quality legal services.
According to Charles F. Gfeller and Robert D. Laurie, the firm has added five partners in the last 18 months. Experienced litigation partner Chimdi G. Tuffs has joined the Philadelphia office located at One Liberty Place, 1650 Market Street, Suite 3600. Other recent additions include former in-house counsel and insurance litigation partner Lisa A. Stefano, who has joined the firm’s West Hartford office, and associates Madison E. Calkins and Donald Cabral, who have joined the firm’s Princeton office. Prior to this, litigation partners David W. Kenna and Adam R. Dolan joined the firm in August 2021 and litigation partner Melicent B. Thompson joined in April 2020.
The firm now has six offices in the Northeast in West Hartford, Connecticut; Boston, Massachusetts; New York City, New York; Tarrytown, New York; Princeton, New Jersey; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
