Overview
Lauren Graham is an associate in the firm’s Connecticut office. She concentrates her practice in civil defense and coverage litigation, including general liability matters, and medical malpractice defense.
During law school, Lauren participated in an externship with the Assistant Attorney General’s Office in the Employment Department and spent her summers as a Summer Associate at a national law firm. After graduating from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2021, she completed a one-year clerkship at the Waterbury Superior Court. Lauren spent the first two years of her practice at the same national law firm with which she clerked, practicing employment law, insurance defense litigation, appellate litigation, and business litigation.

- Defended property management company in premises liability matter and as to related, extended motion practice concerning scope of permissible discovery directed to non-party property owner.
- Defended non-party as to subpoena compelling documents and testimony and in related, extended motion practice to quash or limit scope of subpoena.
- Successfully moved to strike negligence claim based on expired statute of limitations as impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
- Achieved favorable settlement in premises liability matter representing property owner.
- Successfully mediated landlord-tenant dispute concerning non-payment of rent, resulting in tenant’s voluntary vacating of the premises.
- Appeared as local counsel in successful mediation before the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities in defense of employers against employment related complaint.
- Achieved favorable settlement for insurer in underinsured/uninsured motorist claim.
