Stephanie Javarauckas is an associate in the firm’s Connecticut office, where she focuses her practice primarily on medical malpractice defense.

Stephanie also has extensive experience defending actions involving personal injury, property damage, and construction defects, handling matters from initial case assessment and discovery through resolution by dispositive motion, mediation/arbitration, or trial.

Outside of the office, Stephanie enjoys spending time in her garden or re-watching Twin Peaks with her two cats, Willow and Khaleesi.

  • Successfully briefed and argued an appellate matter securing a unanimous opinion affirming summary judgment.
  • Obtained favorable verdict for a survivor of sexual assault in a civil claim for damages, including securing a substantial award of non-economic damages.
  • Prepared and argued dozens of dispositive motions, including motions to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction and motions for summary judgment, on behalf of Tribal, corporate, and individual defendants.
  • Obtained multiple favorable settlements for homeowners against contractors for violations of the Home Improvement Act and New Home Warranty Act.
  • Obtained six figure settlement for homeowner against condominium association and property management company for violations of the Common Interest Ownership Act.
