William (“Liam”) Bohonnon is an attorney in the firm’s Connecticut office with a practice focused primarily on insurance coverage, litigation and counseling, and other complex commercial litigation. He has extensive experience counseling insurers on a broad range of complex coverage issues and representing insurers in coverage litigation. He has represented insurers in multiple jurisdictions, with a practice that encompasses all areas of coverage in both the first- and third-party contexts and related litigation services.

Prior to entering law school, Liam spent several years working as a financial analyst at a global financial institution in New York City. While attending the University of Connecticut School of Law, he served as Notes and Comments Editor for its Insurance Law Journal publication.

  • Obtained favorable settlement for carrier in insurance coverage litigation arising out of property damage claim for water loss at a Connecticut hotel.
  • Following a court-side trial in Connecticut, obtained a favorable judgment in commercial action with an award of attorney’s fees.
