ABA’s New President Spoke Recently About Settlement Annuities As Tools To Resolve Personal Injury Cases

Annuities, Blogs

The American Bar Association will have a new president as of August 9, 2011. That’s when attorney William T. Robinson will become take the reins at the ABA, which bills itself as the world’s largest voluntary professional association, with nearly 400,000 members, and which describes its aims as promoting justice and the rule of law.

My partner Katherine Scanlon and I recently heard Attorney Robinson speak at a conference on the use of structured settlement annuities to help resolve personal injury cases. He spoke passionately and from his own experience, and his comments have now been posted by the conference organizers, the National Structured Settlement Trade Association.
