Associate Attorney Shrina Faldu Named Partner
Congratulations to GL attorney Shrina Faldu who has been named a Partner. Shrina practices in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Shrina was the first recipient of GL’s Leadership Through Diversity Fellowship launched in 2012. As part of its long-standing commitment to better serving clients as well as equal opportunity and diversity in the practice of law, the firm encourages diverse law students to participate in a paid summer associate program, in addition to receiving a financial scholarship. Shrina joined the firm as a second-year summer associate, and after graduating law school, became a full-time associate in 2013. Close to a decade later, Shrina leads the Boston office and chairs the Firm’s Diversity Committee. She is one of the longest-tenured employees at the firm, which now has a total of 22 attorneys in six offices in the Northeast.
“Since Shrina joined the firm almost 10 years ago, she has been an integral and critical part of our firm’s defense litigation practice and specifically, sports and recreation-related injuries,” said Founding Partner Charles F. Gfeller, Gfeller Laurie LLP. Shrina is a prototype for how young lawyers can effectively develop and grow their careers.
As a litigation attorney, Shrina focuses her practice in the area of recreational/sports litigation and regularly defends recreational facilities in civil litigation. Active in the community, Shrina is a member of the Board of Directors of The Bridge Family Center in Connecticut and the South Asian Bar Association of Boston.
