Associate Olivia Tawa Selected as a 2022 Rising Star by Connecticut Super Lawyers
Congratulations to associate Olivia Tawa who was selected by her peers as a 2022 Rising Star by Connecticut Super Lawyers for the second consecutive year. Super Lawyers recognizes the top lawyers in Connecticut via a patented multiphase selection process involving peer nomination, independent research and peer evaluation.
Olivia practices primarily in the areas of complex civil and commercial litigation. Specifically, she focuses her practice in the area of recreational/sports litigation and regularly defends recreational facilities in claims of liability. She regularly represents condominium associations, property management companies, retail stores, other commercial establishments, small business owners, non-profit organizations, community outreach organizations, group homes, drug and alcohol treatment facilities, assisted living facilities, and homeless shelters in civil litigation involving claims of personal injury. Olivia also represents insurers in complex coverage disputes and matters involving allegations of unfair claim settlement practices and bad faith.
She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law.
