Attorney Benjamin Schimelman Appointed to CRIS Board of Directors
Gfeller Laurie LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Benjamin Schimelman was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Radio Information System, Inc. (CRIS) on June 24, 2020. For over four decades, CRIS has been providing the blind and print-challenged residents of Connecticut with access to the news of the day and a growing variety of content through human narration of printed material. Today, CRIS broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week through six regional studios. In addition, CRIS has expanded to offer CRISKids for Schools, CRIS in Español, CRISAccess Audio Tours, and CRIS Streaming. CRIS provides an invaluable service to the people of Connecticut and we are pleased that Benjamin will be helping this worthy organization to continue and thrive.
