Attorney Kara Newell Appointed to Two-Year Term as Presidential Fellow with the Connecticut Bar Association
Congratulations to Gfeller Laurie LLP attorney Kara Newell for her recent two-year appointment as a Presidential Fellow with the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA). Kara Newell is an associate in the Healthcare and Professional Liability practice group.
The Presidential Fellows Program is designed to enhance knowledge of and involvement in the substantive work of the CBA’s sections and to provide additional training for future leaders. Kara was selected based upon her demonstrated commitment to the Connecticut legal community. As a Presidential Fellow, she also will be appointed as an ex-officio member of the executive committee of the Litigation Section.
This is a well-deserved recognition for Kara, as she has been an active member of the CBA’s Young Lawyers Section Executive Committee and the Women in the Law Co-Chair as well as a volunteer for the CBA’s Lawyers in the Libraries community outreach program.
