Attorneys Chimdi Tuffs and Elizabeth Napierkowski Publish Article in Legal Intelligencer on Extreme Weather and Civil Litigation
Partner Chimdi Tuffs and Associate Elizabeth Napierkowski co-authored an article for ALM’s Legal Intelligencer titled: Defending Claims Where Extreme Weather Is to Blame: Our Changing Climate’s Impact on Civil Litigation which published July 18, 2024. The article describes what defenses are available to corporate defendants in civil litigation actions where extreme weather and climate change are to blame. An increase in these types of claims is inevitable given the current state of the climate crisis.
