Attorneys Mark Shifton and Heather McCoy Obtain Summary Judgment for Podiatry Client

Congratulations to partner Mark Shifton and counsel Heather McCoy who obtained a favorable decision for a podiatry client being sued for malpractice and failure to obtain informed consent. The court dismissed the complaint after attorneys argued that the doctor did not deviate from the accepted standards of medical care, and he properly obtained the patient’s informed consent prior to any procedures performed.
