GL Opens Philadelphia Office and Names Litigator Chimdi G. Tuffs as Partner
As part of our continued expansion, GL has opened its newest office in Philadelphia and named experienced litigation Chimdi G. Tuffs as Partner. “The addition of a Philadelphia location marks our sixth office in the Northeast and the opportunity to broaden our geographic reach, while expanding our ability to serve clients,” said Founding Partner Robert D. Laurie in a press release.
Chimdi represents various employers and corporations in complex litigation and frequently represents clients in premises liability, personal injury, trucking liability, insurance coverage and product liability matters. She draws on her vast courtroom experience as a former assistant district attorney, first as a felony prosecutor in Philadelphia, then as a felony Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence prosecutor in New York City, to defend corporate clients in state and federal civil litigation. She is admitted in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and District of New Jersey. Chimdi has been recognized as a Rising Star in Super Lawyers Pennsylvania from 2019 – 2021. She serves on the Board of Directors of The Monkey and the Elephant, a non-profit coffee shop employing former foster youth.
