Mark Shifton named Co-Chair of NJDA Construction Law Committee
Mark D. Shifton has been named as the Co-Chair of the New Jersey Defense Association’s Construction Law Committee. The NJDA (https://njdefenseassoc.com) is an organization consisting of New Jersey defense attorneys, insurance claim professionals, self-insurers and other corporations who devote a substantial portion of their time to the defense of damage suits or to claims administration.
Mark is a Partner in the Princeton, New Jersey and New York City offices of Gfeller Laurie LLP, where he represents owners, design professionals and contractors in construction disputes, and advises and represents clients on sustainable development and “green” building issues. Mark also currently serves as the Marketing Chair of the Defense Research Institute’s Construction Law Committee and is the Immediate Past Chair of the DRI Product Liability Committee’s Building Products SLG.
