Partner Mark Shifton Named Vice-Chair of DRI’s Construction Law Committee
At Defense Research Institute’s (DRI) Annual Meeting for civil lawyers in San Antonio, Texas Oct 25-27, partner Mark Shifton will be named Vice-Chair of the Construction Law committee for a two-year term.
Mark focuses his practice in the areas of complex civil and commercial litigation in the state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York. Mark routinely represents owners, design professionals, and contractors in cases involving construction disputes and catastrophic property losses, and has extensive experience representing manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of a wide variety of industrial, consumer, and recreational products, including green building products, in both individual and class actions.
Mark is also the lead guitarist for DRI’s in-house band ‘The Defense Never Rests’ since its inception in 2021, which will perform Friday night at the Annual Meeting.
