The Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel Selects Managing Partner Melicent Thompson for Membership
Congratulations to Managing Partner Melicent Thompson who has been selected for membership in The Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (“FDCC”). FDCC is a professional trade association of vetted and premier defense and corporate counsel and industry executives dedicated to leading the profession by advancing the principles of integrity, professionalism, fair civil justice and intellectual capital. Current membership is slightly over 1400 and includes both United States and internationally based members.
Melicent has over 25 years of litigation experience in Connecticut and Georgia state and federal courts in business dispute resolution, defense of employer, professional and executive liability claims, defense of educational and financial institutions, and general liability matters. She also has broad experience in insurance coverage law, providing legal advice in both the first- and third- party claim contexts and related litigation services, including declaratory judgment actions, defense of bad faith claims and reinsurance matters.
