Vincent J. Vitkowsky and Charles W. Fortune join Seiger Gfeller Laurie LLP as partners

Vince Vitkowsky, formerly a partner at Edwards Wildman, LLP in New York, represents insurers and reinsurers in coverage and claims matters, reinsurance disputes, direct defense and general commercial disputes. His practice areas include property & casualty, professional liability, management and D&O, energy, entertainment, terrorism, life, group health, and cyber risks. In addition to serving as counsel in well over 100 arbitrations involving insurance and reinsurance, Vince also has an extensive background in cyber risks and liabilities. Vince also serves as arbitrator or counsel in international commercial arbitrations involving a broad range of industries. Vince will be resident in GL’s New York office. 

Charlie Fortune, formerly a partner at Day Pitney, LLP in Hartford, Connecticut, represents commercial entities in litigation, arbitration, and mediation; and he advises clients with respect to commercial contract obligations, mitigation of loss, and efficient resolution of disputes. Charlie has significant experience handling insurance and reinsurance disputes, involving asbestos, pollution, and health hazard exposures, intellectual property cover, professional liability, worker’s compensation, and intermediary contracts. His other commercial work includes the resolution of contractual disputes in the aerospace industry. Charlie will be resident in GL’s West Hartford, Connecticut office.
