Chrystale Hewitt defends companies and individuals in complex civil litigation matters in Federal and State Courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Chrystale has extensive experience in personal injury, premises liability, product liability, and construction defect litigation. She specializes in defending companies in complex multi-party construction defect litigation and transition claims. She has provided risk assessment and defense to project owners, general contractors, developers, and specialty trade contractors. She also regularly litigates matters involving insurance coverage, underinsured and uninsured benefits, and declaratory judgment matters.

Chrystale diligently represents client interests while minimizing risks and moving toward positive results in complex litigation matters. She has experience in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, mediation, binding and non-binding arbitration, and trial.



Representative Experience

  • Obtained summary judgment in Ocean County, New Jersey in favor of gutter trade contractor on multi-million dollar claim by homeowner’s association.
  • Obtained summary judgment in Ocean County, New Jersey in favor of stucco contractor upheld by the Appellate Division in New Jersey.
  • Obtained summary judgment in Camden County, New Jersey for specialty contractor on Developer’s claim for contractual attorney’s fee claim and additional insured coverage.
  • Successfully obtained additional insured coverage for general contractor from sub-contractor insurer saving client defense and indemnity cost.

Civic Activities

  • Chrystale is an active member of her community who regularly volunteers for a variety of events and tasks involving her Church, local schools, and student organizations.
