Overview
Kaveh S. Shahi was admitted to practice in California in 1983. While in California, he externed for the California Supreme Court, clerked for the Santa Clara County Superior Court, and worked for an insurance defense firm in the San Francisco Bay area.
Since 1989 Kaveh has been practicing in Vermont in the areas of insurance defense, coverage, civil rights, construction, professional malpractice, and employment litigation. He is a seasoned attorney with more than 100 jury verdicts and many published appellate decisions in State and Federal courts.
Over the years Kaveh has been a member of various professional organizations such as the Defense Research Institute, the International Association of Defense Counsel, and the American Board of Trial Advocates. In addition to practicing in California and Vermont, Kaveh is also admitted practice in New Hampshire and Colorado, as well as the United States First, Second and Third Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.
